Vix Vizion sets new benchmark in facial recognition performance and accuracy.

Viz Vizion’s Facial Recognition Algorithms are regularly tested by the US Government’s National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Recent results where one of our FR algorithms was tested under real world conditions or ‘Wild’ scenarios showed that Vix Vizion’s Algorithms are amongst some of the best with a ranking of 2nd in the world. For ‘Wild” type images, resolution varies very widely and are very unconstrained, with wide yaw and pitch pose variation. Faces can be occluded, including hair and hands.

These great test results included accuracy (on unpredictable images), reliability (images where a face was not detected), Speed ( search time per face) and size (small memory usage).

This gives confidence to our customers who use our Imagus Intelligent Video Analytics product in a variety of markets including Critical Infrastructure, Retail and Pubs and Clubs.
